Sir Tim Wallis Story

Honour the exploits of local legend Sir Tim Wallis and tales of one of southern NZ's most colourful personalities.  Be inspired by the life of legendary NZ pilot, deer farmer, business entrepreneur, vintage warplanes enthusiast and founder of the phenomenally successfull international air show Warbirds Over Wanaka.

Warbirds & Wheels also promises to appeal to the creative buffs and aims to showcase collections of innovative New Zealand art and design. 

Our opening exhibition includes original art from the Real Art Roadshow.

Curtesy of brainchild Fiona Reid, original art works created by New Zealand's leading artists have been hand picked for display.  They are now ready to be admired up close in the new Warbirds & Wheels Art Gallery. This exhibition will be on display until late Autumn 2012.
